Boarding house "Os Heem" is a boarding house with the famous dutch hospitallity, situated in the valley from the "Eyserbeek", hidden between hills. From the top of these hills, you have a beautiful view at parts of the "ardennen" and "eifel" Eys is situated in a circle of 20 km from Maastricht, Aken, Heerlen, and 11 km from the touristic city Valkenburg. In Landgraaf, at a distance of 15 km from the boarding house is one of the biggest indoor skicentre of Europe. Also is boarding house "Os Heem" a good starting point for daytrips to Monschau (60 km), Luik (40 km) with his famous market, and Koln (90 km) known by his tremendous cathedral. In the season is at several days from the week, a authentic old tank engine riding from Kerkrade tot Schin op Geul, and has a stop at the trainstation Eys. In the summer, Limburg has a lot of activitys such as villagepartys and fancy fairs. Around Eys are a lot of walking areas with forest, field en streams. You have to see it to believe it.
